These men are brothers. William was killed by bushwhackers believed to be led by the notorious Champ Ferguson. Their mother, Temperance (Fraim) Stone is possibly the sister of John Fraim, the man who outfitted the 9th Kentcuky Infantry Regiment (see the 9th Kentucky link below).
